Bonding can quickly and painlessly restore your smile's beauty. A thin coating of resin is placed over a fractured or chipped tooth to replace the missing structure. It can also be used to correct poor contours or stained teeth. It is an excellent alternative to veneers.

Whitening and Bleaching is an effective technique which brightens teeth and restores them to their original brilliance. We utilize several options including the highly successful Zoom 2 Process which is completed in our office in under an hour and brightens the teeth by an average of 6-8 shades. We can also provide a customized home tray system which is less costly and works well.

Crowns or Caps are natural-looking covers that fit snugly over weak, fractured, or discolored teeth. Crowns provide support to the teeth and provide a long lasting aesthetic result.  They can be composed of strictly porcelain or combined with precious metals if additional strength is necessary. Bridges are formed by combining or splinting together a series of crowns which can replace one or more missing teeth and strengthen an entire arch.  Metal-free porcelain crowns eliminate the black margin line seen in older crowns and allow the most natural color.

Porcelain Veneers are an excellent alternative to crowns. They are more conservative and provide a lasting beautiful result when used properly. They are customized thin shells of porcelain that fit onto the tooth and can mask color, improve shape, or repair fractures.  They look incredibly natural and can be an important part of a complete makeover. The patient's bite must be taken into consideration to allow for success.

Problems can arise with our jaw joint including severe headaches. inability to open or close our jaw, muscular pain, or difficulty chewing or speaking. This can be due to a misalignment of our teeth, clenching or grinding, or undue stress to our jaw and surrounding muscles. Treatment can include physical therapy, muscle relaxers, or construction of a customized nightguard to alleviate pressure and correct our bite.

Dental Implants replace missing teeth by surgically placing an anchor or post below the gum. The bone grows around it allowing a strong support for an implant crown to be attached.  Dental Implants require sufficient healthy bone and gum tissue for a lasting result. Our office has much experience with the many system options available including Straumann, 3 I, and Nobel.

We utilize many techniques including antibiotic Arestin therapy and a strong home care education program.

Sometimes tooth removal is the best option and everything is done to provide a comfortable solution. Home care instruction is always provided with an emphasis on answering all patient concerns.

Dentures can be an excellent option to replace missing teeth and fill spaces or gaps. They are custom molded and include several try-in steps to allow for a fully functional beautiful result. They allow chewing comfort, maintain facial structure, and improve speech. There are many options including the flexible and metal-free Valplast denture system. We also offer immediate dentures which are placed the same day of tooth extractions. Rush service is also available to allow a quick turnaround for denture completion.

 

We like to begin our relationships with our younger patients as early as age 3. We believe in a relaxing learning environment for both child and patient. Home instruction is provided and reinforced. 

Root Canals involve the removal of the infected or injured pulp or nerve tissue. Endodontics accomplishes this treatment which allows the affected tooth to survive and remain functional and pain-free. A crown placement is often necessary to replace missing tooth structure and prevent further breakage.
